I received a soft lud on my H1B approved in Nov 2007. All other cases do not have any LUD. I guess it is just the system touching these records as routine maintainence.

ramus, follow my posts in the past 20 days and you will see i have posted many posts for this AP expedite. I have a travel coming up shortly and I had only exactly 90 days from the date of application and date of travel. My application was approved recently along with my spouse. There is even a post where I listed out all the steps I took to expedite and finally finally only the local congressman phone to USCIS helped. its just unbelievable, but its possible. I have tickets that even if you postpone the journey I will lose money. I said to myself enough we lose with USCIS, and so decided to take all and any steps to expedite and get it done. just follow my posts (like start reading my past 20 posts) and I am sure you will find it useful. If you need more help, please PM me, and I will be more than happy to help you with any questions that you have. All the best.

I don't have any update on AP .
Should I still select the below mentioned option ?
'Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing' is what I should select for AP inquiry?

there is only one action item right now and it is on the forum.
the update and action needed prior to this was handled by state chapters, however everyone is now up to date with what needs to be done.
state chapters are voluntary but very effective in initiating grassroots approaches to our problems, they have also proved very effective with focussed actions recently. a state chapter is simply a local community that networks and offers support. so it really has many other advantages than just a question of updates.
anyway there is no fresh update currently.
I learned that the full committee meeting was scheduled for June 23rd (yesterday). Was it dropped or rescheduled?? Can you give that piece of information?

Could you please post who did the education evaluation for you? Was it a course by course eval?
It will also help if you could provide details on your labor certification category such as
section (203) (3) (i) or (ii) etc.. for skilled worker or professional. I believe You could also find this on your I-140 receipt notice..
'Will accept academic studies evaluated as equivalent of US Bachelors' This wording is tough to handle given that what you have is a Combination of courses evaluated as equivalent to US Bachelors, based on details provided in your post quote "I have a 3 year diploma & 1 year towards Bachelors in business" end quote.

I am not trying to question your intent just trying to get some knowledge of facts. However your reasoning suggests that there are numbers available to overflow from EB2 World to EB2 India. What if there are just enough numbers to keep EB2 World rolling. I will be interesting in learning more about how these allocations work. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

I still don't get it. There are around 300k AOS applications now pending. Given that there are only 10k EB based green cards for India, and I am sure there are more applications than 10k for FY2008 and still Visa bulletin for Oct indicates a date of Apr 2004. Should it not be "U" for the entire FY2008?

There are 2 agencies involved here - DOS and USCIS. Visa numbers and cut-off dates are owned by DOS. 485 applications are held and processed by USCIS as and when visa numbers are released by DOS.

Hi everyone,
Last week one of my friend(Mexican) from mexico was sent back from the airport and her visa was revoked (B1/B2).The officer claimed that since she lived in the US for almost 5-6 months (no overstays) for the last 2 years,she must have worked here.Is there any possibility that she could apply for another visa (either after waiting for a few months and what are the Odds?).Can the immigrant lawyer do anything to help her get her any other visa (student or something).
Please help!!

Loo can be used as platform to expose false media. I think there are lot of media groups which do not get enough funding from politicans and they will make news about our issue to get their ranking higher. And above all our friendly Fox, MSNBC. CNN will soon kick Loo
The idea is - use this guy and expose media that gives false news or that supresses real issues and force those types of media to bring our issue to limelight.
I have heard all media saying "We are immigrant nation", "we need skilled immigrants", "'We are not racist", etc.. then again the same media says "Immigrants are overstaying visas", "There is quota, we cannot do anything", same media has supressed microsoft's news about the Canada development center just because it involved immigration.
I am of a strong opinion that media is controlled by politicians, the reporters who said they will cover the flower campaign - chances are that their bosses may ask them not to or give them another assignment ???
