Very good point logiclife. what happens in this following scenario when 140 is approved and when 140 is pending.
Person X has completed 180 days after 485 filing, used is 6 yrs of H1 and now he got a 3 yrs of H1B from the same employer. If this person uses AC21 & EAD and joins another company and after 1 yr his 485 is rejected for wrong reasons, will this person be out of status(since used EAD) or will be in status since his H1b is still valid with the old employer (Assumed the employer has not revoked). Will it be safe to come back to the same employer.

Yes I believe my attorney did provide the educational evaluation documents. It was the same documentation used for the H1B & the PERM Certification. Any idea of what my chances are with the appeal?
did you give an education evaluation certification along with your original GC app and I-140 app? IT is very important documentation if u do not have a 4 year degree. Usually they accept 3 year degree with work exp to be considered in lieu of 4 year degree. for your case, where u do not have a 3 year bachelors also, ur education evaluation documentation needs to be extra strong and attractive. Hope this helps...

if you have seen my other posts on this subject, you would not have said what you did. I am an IT consultant, and, have in the past received multiple offers for labor sub, but, not taken it as I am comfortable with what I am doing.
I have also personally known people who used labor sub in companies that are listed on the NASDAQ and are involved in Software development (not one of the mom and pop consulting companies)
All I was doing by playing the devil's advocate is trying to deflect the heat of the person who started this thread. I will repeat myself once again. I understand that as a practice it borders on being unfair. However, if it is being used by someone legally, to better their own life, we should not come out and attack them.
Now to answer your question - "Would you do it? If yes why and if no why not". Would I do it? Yes I would if I got an offer from a great company with a well defined career path, good salary and stock and benefits etc.
Would I do it to go from one consulting company to other by paying someone money for it? NEVER. I hope this answers your question.

I too spend 1500 in 2006 becasue dates were not avaialble in india at that time... ( Iremeber ( 2-3 ) months waiting was there .. and Canada has 1-2 weeks.

it is an acceptable proof, they said they have a rule that if the document has no expiration date, they can only give you a driver license with validity 6 months beyond the receipt date of your document (with the wild assumption that any I-485 application is approved or denied within 6 months)
In some of States they accept EAD also which can be valid upto two years. But any way it is pain.

Without immigration voice or like forums we could be a lot worse. it is good to vent, exert feelings and come out with experiences and share them P2P. This is one of our life lines. This is not the case for me....but during a discussion with my attorney and other friends contacts they said if you do not attach the medicals now you may get RFE at a later stage...which you can resolve it.
I bet any RFE can be articulated with reason by attorney if they are smart enough.
This is something I heard...but do not hold me on that. Please check with your attorney too and make a decesion.
May not be enitrely true. Medical report is part of the initial evidence now, so its better to send it with 485 application instead of relying on RFE. Also your wife is already in home country, she can get all the shots required there. best option is for her to prepone her travel if possible. yet another option is for you to go ahead and file yours first and add her later. Please check with your attorny about all these options.

That is not true. In my case, when I sent my EAD renewal my PD was Current. They sent me a 2 yrs EAD instead of processing my GC. So weird.
