You should have filed in July'07 for your son and he was eligible that time even he might have completed 21 years as your I-140 was pending for enough time.
Now you have to wait for date to become current and calculate:
1) Total processing time period for your I-140
2) Your PD become current
3) Completion of your son's 21 years must not have surpassed the processing time for I-140 before you can file his I-485

Now that I have talked about so many people....let me tell you what I did to freak out Aman.....
Sunday afternoon, Aman asked me to take out about 5,000 printouts of our documents and put them in 120 folders for the meetings on Monday. I started doing it but the printer was painfully slow. After a while, I figured it will take me hours to do it and I was getting restless because I go to gym daily and I had not worked- out that day. I decided to run upstairs to the fitness centre and get done with it.
I came back in about 1.5 hrs., and there was a big chaos - so many printouts flying around!! Aman looked tensed. Anyways, I worked 5 hrs straight and with the help of great volunteers there I was able to get all those 120 folders ready for the monday morning.
So much so for my Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour! Needless to say, I didnot work-out the other 2 days....didn't want people to know I am crazy :)

If you have a genuine case and know the company name who resort to these shady practices, Please fill this form and send it across to DOL. You do not need to provide your personal information if you are not willing to.
Rest, they will investigate and take care..

You need to write to USCIS and Ombudsman. Labor department does not approve such petitions.

There may be some EB2 Indians with PD in 2002 and 2003 (with traditional non-RIR LC) got out of BEC recently. If 1,500 Indian non-RIR LCs (with EB2 PD 2003)certified recently from BEC, that is sufficent to move the date back to 2003 for India again. Having said that, it is all prediction. No one knows, except USCIS. My prediction is just based on the magnitude of 485s (800K) filed recently, as is has all kind of composition in huge manitude, apart from so many 485s already pending due to name check.

Anyway looking forward to some detailed stats from USCIS, hope they publish something (they can do a month-by-month country-by-country analysis with what data tehy have now, and should be able to tell each and every application their future potential date of approval (subject to namecheck blackhole exception))

I really like this idea. Core team should give this a serious thought. As macaca pointed out, it wouldn't make a difference to certain ppl, but should motivate quite a few others.

The first step you should get your employer to do is to file a job order in the state job bank or americas job bank. You have to keep this ad for 30 days and then wait another 30 days to file PERM. This is the longest time. All other forms of recruitment needs to wait only 30 days and you can file PERM on the 31st day. There is no mention of working days or weekends, it is 30 continuous days. As you know in addition to this job bank order, and two Sunday newspaper ads, there has to be three other forms of recruitment before you can file PERM. If your employer and lawyer are really proactive it will only take 60 days to file PERM from start to finish. You also have to get a prevailing wage determination and post it at your job site for 10 days not including holidays and weekends. Hope this helps. Please contribute and incrase the membership of IV for the good of all of us.

None one else this forum in this situation. Why not we gather how many of us are affected? Then it will be easier for us to plan and request our case to be included on IV agenda.

Congrats to all those who have received their approvals. Do you get a "Card Production Ordered" email or "Welcome" email or both?
My attorney got an e-mail, i haven't gotten an e-mail yet. But i checked my online case status, which says card production ordered, should have card in 30 days time. My atty said that they are having some trouble right now with card production, so maybe that is why it says 30 days instead of 10 business days as it did in the past.

I have applied for birth certificate at Indian Consulate, SFO and received from them. They simply attested the information on my Passport on their letter head..will that be sufficient or I should get it from MRO/etc from India?

Now I am really confused between going forward with stocks vs forex. I understand that forex is traded 24x7, wont they be helpfull if you can trade during the stock market hours. What is your thoughts??

if you can have a normal conversation = you are not working as much
if you can talk intermittently = you are challenging your body enough
if you cannot talk at all = you are working too much and this does not help either
For the starters ...walk at your normal pace..remember you are starting to condition your body towards walking 3 miles by a certain time frame. it is ok if you can only get to 1 mile instead of 3. it is going to be a journey.
If you are new to fitness walking or running and you already support IV, now you can do both - see above post by Santb1975. I also recommend this methodology.
